Terence Lewis

(born 10 April 1975) is an Indian dancer and choreographer, specializing in contemporary dance. He is known as a choreographer and judge in reality dance series, Dance India Dance (2009–present).. He run his ‘Terence Lewis Contemporary Dance Company’ in Mumbai, holds dance workshops both in India and abroad. He has choreographed Bollywood films like, Lagaan (2001), Jhankaar Beats (2003) and Naach (2004), apart from musicals, stage shows, ads, music videos and national and international dance competitions. He was recently a judge of Nach Baliye 5, along with actress Shilpa Shetty and film director Sajid Khan. And currently seen judging Nach Baliye Shriman v/s Shrimati along with actress and Nach Baliye 5 judge Shilpa Shetty and film director and choreographer Farah Khan.

He trained in jazz, ballet and contemporary dance at the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater and the Martha Graham Center of Contemporary Dance in New York.

He is a choreographer in Bollywood films and musicals, stage shows, ads and music videos. Terence has choreographed a number of films and musicals as a choreographer. Terence has choreographed a number of stage shows, Indian contemporary performances, Bollywood Shows, corporate launches, Broadway Westend musicals, feature films, several popular music videos, and has appeared in advertisements. Terence won the 2002 American Choreography Award for his choreography for songs of the movie Lagaan along with Saroj Khan, Raju Khan, Ganesh Hegde and Vaibhavi Merchant.

He has choreographed international stage shows, Bollywood shows, corporate launches, Broadway Westend musicals, feature films, ads and music videos. He is the first Indian to receive the danceWEB Europe Scholarship, representing India in Vienna, Austria. Terence represented Asia at the International Choreographers’ Meet at the TANZ platform, Stuttgart, Germany. He is also a teacher at Impulstanz Festival at Vienna, Austria since 2007-08 teaching Bollywood and Indian contemporary dance.

His first choreography in a Hindi movie was a ballroom waltz, titled “Waltz for a Romance” in Academy Award-nominated, Lagaan (2001), followed by the song Dil Ne Tumko From Jhankaar Beats in 2003, he also choreographed actress Antara Mali in Ram Gopal Verma’s dance themed film, Naach (2004), which got him instant acclaim.He was also the choreographer in films like John Mathew’s Shikhar. He also did music videos like Adnan Sami’s Kasam (with Amisha Patel), Stereo Nation’s Ishq (with Koena Mitra) and Shaan, Saapna Mukherjee among others. In March 2011, he made a Guinness World Record of choreographing 1,336 people together, to song, Jhoom Barabar Jhoom, as a part of dance the reality show Guinness World Record – Ab India Todega on Colours TV.

Terence also did international musicals like The Children of the Sea and Finding Marina with the Civil War and Tsunami affected children in Sri Lanka.In 2012, he also appeared as a judge on reality dance series, Hindustan Ke Hunarbaaz, on Life OK, along with actress Sonali Bendre.



SazzieSazzie is a Hip Hop graduate from Broadway Dance Center, NY in 2010.
Trained with Robert Hoffman (lead actor/Dancer, Step Up 2), Luam , Kelly Peters, Salah. Traveled, performed and taught in more than 20 countries so far.

He has also worked and trained with many renowned working choreographers from South Africa,USA and Canada which includes dancers from the movies like ‘You Got Served’ , ‘Stomp the Yard’ , ‘Step Up 2’ and ‘Step Up 3D’.

Today He is one of the hottest and most popular Commercial Hip Hop teachers in India.

Taking his Artistic Direction and Choreography to another level, Sazzie now is the Founder/Creative Director of Brooklyn Academy of Dance and Arts Pvt Ltd.

He is a very Versatile DJ and can adapt to any kind of audience’s taste. He is the pioneer of mainstream commercial music in India. Right from Spinning Bolly wood’s remixes to U.K Bhangra to House, Retro, Hip Hop, Trance and RnB. You have to make sure to be there and witness the energy flowing where he is Spinning . He creates an Aura which will give you an adrenaline rush.

Katie Holland

Katie HollandShe has studied Arabic bellydance since 1994 and worked as a professional Arabic belly dancer since 1996. She is very renowned in the UK as a master teacher and for her unique interpretations of Arabic and fusion dances. She works regularly with Arabic and fusion musicians – notably Hossam Ramzy as a principal dancer in his troupe.

1982-1992 Studied ballet, tap and modern
1994-present Studying Arabic belly dance: teachers include Hossam and Serena Ramzy and Leila Hadded. I was the first in a group specially invited by Hossam to take part in his advanced dancers training course.
1995-present Studying African, Bollywood, Samba and Yoga
2008-present Studying Bharatnatyam, Sufi Whirling, Sacred Nepalese and Gurdjieff dances.

Teaching experience:
1996-present has taught weekly and private classes and workshops for individuals and corporates. These have included from beginners to professional level in the UK and India. She teaches at many of the bellydance festivals in the UK regularly featured as star performer. These include; Majma, Raqs Brittania, Jewel Of Yorkshire, Fantasia, Planet Egypt, Kookie Kaftan to name but a few.
2007-present Organising dance retreats in Morocco and Goa.
She is regularly asked to be a guest teacher at various events in India; recently Baile De Salon, Mumbai and Hip-Nosis Bellydance Festival, Bangalore.

She has performed at countless events in India for high profile weddings, film premiers and corporates such as Dainik Jagran, Coca Cola, Sony, Google, Volvo, Gitanjali, Mumbai Football Awards and Goa Film Festival.
She has also work with musicians; Hossam and Serena Ramzy, Guy Schalom and the Baladi Blues, Sukhbir, Simon Webster and fusion musicians; Abhishek Basu, Jon Sterckx, Digital Samsara to name but a few.
She has currently perform and choreograph for my fusion group Apsara in the UK and am working with a Bollywood group.
